We're so excited to be bringing you this amazing retreat! Rediscover your 'Me Time' by immersing yourself in a weekend of dynamic and restorative yoga, mindfulness, and delicious nourishing food.
We all know how easy it is to get overwhelmed by work, tasks at home, and everything else that life throws us. When this happens, usually it's our Me Time that's the first thing to go; we skip lunch, miss yoga and don't have time for friends or ourselves. With this in mind, we have carefully and lovingly prepared a fantastic schedule to be the ultimate weekend of self care. We are delighted to be holding the retreat in a breathtaking venue surrounded by beautiful countryside; the perfect place to unwind, refresh and refocus.
THE GOTHIC CHURCH
We will be staying in a beautiful converted Gothic church built in 1838. Situated in a peaceful village, surrounded by countryside in the magical heart of Somerset and just a 2 hour drive from London or Oxford, and 35mins from Bristol. The accomodation boasts charming shared and private rooms, a large cosy living room with a glass wood burning stove, as well as a hot tub! We will have a dedicated yoga space on the gallery, in front of the stunning original stained glass. The church is a truly unique venue, retaining many period features, with views as far as the mystical Glastonbury Tor and the Isle of Avalon.

Sarah Wivell is trained in Yin, Ashtanga and Rocket yoga. She first discovered yoga whilst holidaying in India and 11 years later, she hasn't looked back!
Sarah will be leading us on a delicious Yin journey to facilitate a deeper release of tension, tightness and resistance.
Laura Harvey will be leading the dynamic morning classes. Laura teaches Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, Rocket as well as Mandala yoga. Laura is passionate about personal growth, and believes in the power of yoga for self development.
Penelope Edwards holds a B.A in Experimental Psychology from Oxford University and is a psychology teacher. She qualified in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction after studying the links between modern psychology and Buddhist philosophy.
Food throughout the retreat will be delicious vegetarian* meals prepared by our very own chef, Laura Parker, of South London Wellness. Laura is the perfect choice for our Me Time theme, as she values a holistic approach to health and wellbeing, and is passionate about finding ways to slow down our fast paced lives. Laura is studying Nutritional Therapy at the College of Naturopathic Medicine. *dietary requirements will be accommodated.
