This workshop is focused on understanding how the foundations of your practice (think sun salutations etc.) are actually building the strength and physical awareness to explore inversions and other advanced techniques. We will start with some basic drills to build the strength and flexibility necessary for taking weight through, and balancing on the hands. We will breakdown various forms of headstand and forearm stand, and take a look at handstands too.
All are welcome to this workshop, but you will get the most out of it if you are comfortable doing a full chaturanga dandasana (or press-up) with knees off the floor.
